The Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro draws inspiration from the SGH-E700 phone that was released in 2003. The SGH-E700 was a great tech innovation that propelled Samsung's mobile brand to another level.
The Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro skillfully implements various distinctive features of the SGH-E700, such as the combination of indigo blue and silver colors, a UX design reinterpretation of 2000s pixel graphics and an exclusive animation on the Flex Window that portrays a cityscape with a touch of nostalgia.

Artists To Create Unique ‘Galaxy Z’ Accessories
Samsung as always working with innovative community of third party accessories provider, this time collaborated with promising emerging artists to bring vibrant artwork to Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5.
The selected artists showcase their colorful artistic perspectives and capture the positive voices of the younger generation. New collaborations with the Korean artists Haydonna, Yeseul O and Lee Eun have resulted in stylish cases for the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5. Samsung’s collaboration with these three artists in the design of the Galaxy Z series accessories aligns with the emerging concept of “Wholesomeness.”
According to Evelyn Kim, Executive Vice President of the D2C Center at Samsung Electronics, “In addition to collaborating with emerging artists on the new foldable products, we will continue to expand collaborations with brands and experts in various fields to create synergy across our product lineup, including TVs and home appliances.”
