WhatsApp adds Messenger Rooms in it’s latest updates

The cross-platform centralized messaging and voice-over-IP service APP, WhatsApp has introduced Messenger Rooms within the mobile WhatsApp as a new way to hang out with your favorite people on video chat.

Messenger Rooms allows you to call and spend time together with family, friends, and people you share interests with just a link invite. You can invite up to 50 people to your room and with the desktop app so you can see more people at once.

You can access Messenger Rooms from shortcuts within WhatsApp that switch you to the Messenger app or the Messenger website in your mobile or web browser. Messenger is a separate app and website, so when you create a room, you’ll need to log in with your Facebook 

Here is howto create a messenger room:-

1. Open WhatsApp, then click the CALLS tab click Create a room
   
   


2. On the prompted, click CONTINUE IN MESSENGER, This will take you out of WhatsApp and through to the Messenger app or the Messenger website in your mobile browser
   NOTE: For messenger to create your room, you need to be logged or login into your facebook account
   
   


3. Click CREATE ROOM AS {name}
   
   


4. Click SEND LINK ON WHATSAPP to reopen WhatsApp
   
   


5. Search for or select contacts or group chats to share the room link with, then click the arrow.
   
   


6. Send

Once you create a room, you’ll have the option to lock your room to prevent new people from joining, or you can leave your room unlocked. Rooms take place outside of WhatsApp, and video chats in Messenger Rooms aren't end-to-end encrypted.
