Dell unveils four gaming monitors - all offering high variable refresh rate (VRR).
4th Jul 2021 | category: Computer & Printers | Hits: 4595Dell today announced a new range of gaming monitors in four sizes- 24-inch, 27-inch, 32-inch and 34-inch with three of which are curved. All four Dell gaming monitors offer high refresh rates ranging between 240Hz and 144Hz.
Dell 34-inch S3422DWG gaming monitor comes with WQHD resolution (3440x1440), 144Hz refresh rate, 2ms response time and 90% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, VESA DisplayHDR and AMD FreeSync. It also supports variable refresh-rate technology. allowing it to be used with consoles such as the PS5 and Xbox One X. It further provides additional illumination in the form of a downlight.
For gaming monitors 27-inch S2722DGM and Dell 32-inch S3222DGM have QHD VA panels. The 27-inch has a curvature of 1500R, and the 32-inch has 1800R. They have a 2ms response time and cover 99% of the sRGB gamut. AMD FreeSync is supported on both models, but Vesa DisplayHDR certification is lacking.
The Dell 25 S2522HG gaming monitor features a 24-inch FHD (1920x1080) VA panel clocked at 240Hz. It is compatible with both Nvidia G Sync and AMD FreeSync and supports variable refresh-rate technology.
